What to Expect:

Day 01: Vinh city - Thai ethnic village
7:00 AM. Our car and guide will pick you up in the center of Vinh City, depart to the west of NgheAn for the exciting tour with a fascinating experience of nature and indigenous culture.
7:00 AM – 7:30 AM. Have breakfast to get energy for a full day’s excursion.You will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional cuisine at the local restaurant. Eel soup or Pho are two great choices for your breakfast.
8:30 AM-11: 00 AM. Transfer to Pu Mat National Park with the route of 120 km within 3 hours. On the way to the National Reserve, you will stop to relax and admire the scenic green tea fields in Thanh Chuong. You can enjoy fresh air in the vast green space, watching tea buds are growing up, and learn about tea cultivation in Vietnam.
11:00 AM-12: 30 PM – Continue to Khe Kem Falls. This area is located near the Laos border. Khe Kem waterfall originates from the height of 1,200m, flows through many hills and valleys and falls down high cliffs creating white foam. One interesting thing about this place is that you can stand underneath the water to feel the freshness of nature.
12:30 PM-1:30 PM – You will have lunch at the foot of the waterfall prepared by the locals. Thai people’s dishes with special taste are sure to make you enjoy.
3:40 PM -09: 00 PM – Leaving the waterfall, you will visit the Thai ethnic village with unique culture; learn about lifestyle and customs in their houses on stilts. Near the village there is a natural underground stream called “Nuoc Moc”. This is a strange stream because its water is cool in summer and warm in winter. Explore the daily life of indigenous people, experiencing the culture and enjoy the delicious traditional cuisine. Stay overnight at Thai Ethnic Homestay.
Day 02: Sang Le Forest
7:30 AM – After getting up in the peaceful sunrise of the village, you will enjoy the breakfast at homestay. Learn about the simple lifestyle of indigenous people. They get up early, go to the market to buy food, prepare breakfast and go to the field for working.
8:00 AM – 12:00 – Start a wonderful day with a short trekking about 1-2 hours into a majestic place of nature – the breathtaking Sang Le Forest (located in Tuong Duong District). Sang Le is a kind of tree belongs to Bang Lang species. The forest stretches from Pu Mat National Park’s headquarters in Con Cuong District, NgheAn Province and all the way up to the Tuong Duong – Ky Son route. You can spend the time on experiencing and enjoying Sang Le forest’s fresh air. It is an opportunity to relax your mind in accordance with the sound of mountain and forest and the color of plants and trees, of flowers and leaves.
1:40 PM – 5:00 PM – We heading back to homestay and have lunch with local food and hear interesting things about traditional cuisine.
After the lunch break, you will have nice time for walking around Nua Village and get inside the fruitful garden of oranges in Pha Village. In addition, you will experience the interesting daily activities of native people such as cooking, catching fishes with the locals in the sunset.
6:00 PM-10:00 PM – Going back the homestay and having dinner with local meal. You can go yourself for a walk at night or stay at the homestay for a rest.
Day 03: Giang River - Vinh city
8:00 AM Having a breakfast. The on-site breakfast will offer you local chicken soup or fried eggs with bread.
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM – We take a boat trip on Giang River and visit Dan Lai Ethnic Villages. The Giang River flowing from Laos is regarded as the mother river of Dan Lai people. This legendary river is beautiful and romantic with the sense of adventure. We will visit a Dan Lai Ethnic village that has lived “wildly” in the jungle for many centuries. Dan Lai people are still largely dependent on forests; they plant paddy, cassava and maize. Dan Lai people also earn their living by hunting and collecting wild fruits and vegetables. Our tour guide will help you to learn more about their interesting and unique life.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Having lunch on the floating restaurant and enjoy the famous local fish as well as other local dishes at the Pha Lai Dam. Pha Lai Dam is also the starting point of the boat trip with romantic and peaceful scenery.
2:30 PM – 5:30 PM – We transfer back to Vinh City.
